Description Frank J. Wood (57) has been our executive vice president and chief financial officer since the Merger. Prior to the Merger, he served as senior vice president and chief financial officer of Legacy Foundation from August 2004 until the Merger and senior vice president and chief financial officer of RAG American Coal Holding, Inc, Legacy Foundation?s predecessor, from 1999 to August 2004. In these positions, Mr. Wood was responsible for financial reporting, financial planning, income taxes, treasury and insurance. From 1993 to 1999, he was vice president & controller at Cyprus Amax Coal Company, and from 1991 to 1993, he was vice president of administration at Cannelton Inc. From 1979 to 1991, Mr. Wood held various accounting and financial management positions at AMAX Inc.?s coal and oil and gas subsidiaries. Mr. Wood earned a Bachelor of Business Administration, with a concentration in Accounting, from the College of William and Mary and a Masters Degree in Business Administration from Indiana University.
