Description


API Technologies Corp. designs, develops, and manufactures electronic components, RF/microwave, microelectronics, and secure systems. It operates in three segments: Systems, Subsystems, and Components (SSC); Electronic Manufacturing Services (EMS); and Secure Systems and Information Assurance (SSIA). The SSC segment offers custom integrated microwave assemblies, components, antennas, single function assemblies, power amplifiers, agile frequency sources, active antenna array, precision sensing products, and single and multi-channel transmit/receive modules. This segment also provides AC and DC power distribution products, circuit protection systems, military power rectifiers, explosive ordnance disposal products, and built to print shipboard and airborne systems solutions. The SSIA segment develops secure network and hardware solutions, including TEMPEST and Emanation Security, ruggedized systems, secure access, and information assurance products, as well as TEMPEST training and certification services under the Emcon, SST, Cryptek, ION, and Netgard brand names. The EMS segment provides new product introductions and prototypes, turnkey manufacturing, printed circuit board and electro-mechanical assembly, systems integration, test engineering, turnkey box build, and supply chain services. The company also manufactures passive electronic components, including thermistors, film capacitors, magnetic transformers and inductors, and audio power conditioning units. It serves defense, aerospace, industrial, communications, medical, and government agencies, including the governments of the United States, Canada, the United Kingdom, and other NATO countries. The company was formerly known as API Nanotronics Corp. and changed its name to API Technologies Corp. in October 2009. API Technologies Corp. was founded in 1993 and is headquartered in Orlando, Florida.
