Andrea Rich
Description Dr. Andrea L. Rich, age 66, has served as a director of Mattel since 1998. Dr. Rich served as President and Chief Executive Officer and Director of the Los Angeles County Museum of Art (?LACMA?) from 1999 to 2005, and as President and Chief Executive Officer of LACMA from 1995 to 1999. Prior to her tenure at LACMA, Dr. Rich had a long, distinguished academic and administrative career at the University of California, Los Angeles, culminating in her service as Executive Vice-Chancellor and Chief Operating Officer from 1991 to 1995. She also served on the Boards of Directors of Douglas Emmett, Inc. (since 2007, where she currently chairs the Nominating and Corporate Governance Committee and serves on the Compensation Committee) and The Private Bank of California (since 2005, where she currently serves on the Governance and Compensation Committees).
