Description Intermap Technologies Corporation provides location-based information solutions created from high-resolution three dimensional (3D) digital models of the earths surface. It aggregates and creates NEXTMap, a database of elevation data, geometric images, and location-based information by using airborne interferometric synthetic aperture radar (IFSAR) data collection technology, third party sensors, and other geospatial related information; and offers NEXTMap World-30 DSM that provides surface elevation data. The companys geospatial solutions are used in a range of applications, including location based information, geographic information systems (GIS), engineering, utilities, global positioning systems (GPS) maps, geospatial risk assessment, oil and gas, renewable energy, hydrology, environmental planning, wireless communications, transportation, advertising, and 3D visualization, as well as to enhance the positional accuracy of airborne and satellite images. In addition, the company offers data layers, including custom contours, terrain-derived hydrology datasets, terrain-derived coastline datasets, road and trail networks, land steward boundary datasets, slope maps, aspect maps, and hillshade images.
