The company owns interests in gold exploration licenses located in the Gicumbi, Burera, Rusizi, and Nyamasheke Districts; and nickel exploration rights in the Kirehe District of the Republic of Rwanda. Its principal property includes the Miyove Gold project located in the Gicumbi and Burera Districts. The company was formerly known as Interra Exploration Inc. and changed its name to Simba Gold Corp. on March 11, 2011. Simba Gold Corp. is based in Vancouver, Canada.
