Israel Rubinstein
Description Israel Rubinstein, M.D., 58, joined our board of directors in May 2001. Dr. Rubinstein is Professor of Medicine, Department of Medicine, and Affiliate Faculty, Department of Physiology and Biophysics at the University of Illinois at Chicago, where he has worked since 1993. Dr. Rubinstein is a leading physician and research scientist in respiratory medicine and oncology. He has served on the editorial boards of several medical and scientific journals and is grant reviewer for the NIH. Dr. Rubinstein received an M.D. degree from Hebrew University?Hadassah School of Medicine and completed fellowships in Respirology at the University of Toronto and at the Cardiovascular Research Institute of the University of California at San Francisco. Dr. Rubinstein provides practical insight as a physician and research scientist in respiratory medicine and oncology and member of several editorial boards of medical and scientific journals.
