Manya Deehr
Description Manya S. Deehr joined us as our Chief Legal Officer and Corporate Secretary in February 2007. From October 2000 to January 2007, Ms. Deehr was a partner in the business and finance practice of Morgan Lewis & Bockius LLP, where she worked exclusively with life sciences companies. Prior to joining Morgan Lewis, she was, among other things, Vice President, General Counsel and Corporate Secretary for an early-stage drug discovery company and a law clerk for the Honorable Giles S. Rich on the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit. She is admitted to practice in Pennsylvania, California, Colorado and the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office and before the U.S. Supreme Court and the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit. Ms. Deehr also serves as a director on the board of Pennsylvania Biotechnology Association, a non-profit industry organization; and as a director and member of the audit committee of Velcera Pharmaceuticals, Inc., a veterinary health company. Ms. Deehr has a law degree from the University of Wisconsin Law School and a bachelor degree in biochemical sciences from Harvard University.
