Description Mr. Oliveira Filho has been a member of our board of directors since July 2008 and our chief executive officer since January 2007. He holds a PhD in economics from the University of California, Berkeley, a master?s degree in economics from UNICAMP, a bachelor?s degree in economics from FEA-USP. From 1996 to 2000, he was the chairman of the Administrative Council of Economic Protection, (Conselho Administrativo de Defesa Econ?mica), or CADE. From 1993 to 1995, he was the deputy secretary of the Secretariat of the Economic Policy of the Ministry of Finance. In 1995, he was the interim secretary of the Economic Monitoring of the Ministry of Finance. He was also the managing partner of Tend?ncias Consultoria Integrada, a consultant and an arbitrator in the areas of regulation of infrastructure and defense of competition. Additionally, Mr. Oliveira Filho was the chairman of the Instituto Tend?ncias de Direito e Economia and a member of several board of directors of private institutions.
