Description Mark A. Emmert, 57, a director of the Company since June 2008, has been the President of the University of Washington in Seattle, Washington, since 2004. He served as Chancellor of Louisiana State University from 1999 to 2004 and Chancellor and Provost of the University of Connecticut from 1994 to 1999. Prior to 1994, he was Provost and Vice President for Academic Affairs at Montana State University and held faculty and administrative positions at the University of Colorado. He also is a director of Expeditors International of Washington, Inc. He served as chair of the Council of Academic Affairs for the National Association of State Universities and Land-Grant Colleges and is co-chair to that organization?s Board of Oceans and Atmosphere.
