Mark Nelson
Description Mr. Nelson joined Columbia Bank as an Executive Vice President and Senior Credit Officer in October 2002, appointed Chief Banking Officer in 2004, and was appointed a director of Bank of Astoria in 2005. During 2009, Mr. Nelson was promoted to Chief Operating Officer. Prior to joining Columbia Bank, Mr. Nelson was a Senior Vice President and Chief Lending Officer at Whidbey Island Bank. His previous 35 years of banking experience include serving in different senior management capacities with Evergreen Bank, Bank of America and Puget Sound National Bank.
