Mark Papa
Description Mr. Papa has served as EOG?s Chairman of the Board and CEO for over 10 years, and has been with EOG and its predecessor companies for over 28 years. Prior to becoming EOG?s Chairman of the Board and CEO, Mr. Papa served in other leadership positions at EOG, including President, CEO and director, President and Chief Operating Officer and President-North America Operations. Mr. Papa joined Belco Petroleum Corporation, a predecessor of EOG, in 1981. Mr. Papa is also a director of Oil States International, Inc., an oilfield service company, where he serves on the Compensation and Nominating and Corporate Governance committees. From July 2003 to April 2005, Mr. Papa served as a director of the general partner of Magellan Midstream Partners LP, a pipeline and terminal company, where he served as Chairman of the Compensation Committee and as a member of the Audit and Conflicts Committees.
