Mark Wood
Description Mark Wood joined BioMarin in May 2004 as Senior Director, Human Resources and was appointed to his current position as Vice President of Human Resources in June 2006. From June 2002 to May 2004, Mr. Wood was the sole proprietor of a human resources consulting practice assisting clients in the areas of compensation, leadership development, organizational effectiveness, and general human resources matters. From September 1999 to June 2002, Mr. Wood served as Vice President of Human Resources & Administration at AG Consulting, a global professional services firm that he joined in October 1998. Prior to joining AG Consulting, Mr. Wood was the manager of compensation and quantitative analysis at Genentech from 1993 to 1998 and held a variety of human resources positions at Wells Fargo Bank from 1991 to 1993. Mr. Wood holds a Master?s degree in Industrial and Labor Relations from Cornell University, and a Bachelor?s degree in Psychology and Management from the State University of New York at Buffalo.
