Matthew Patterson
Description Matthew R. Patterson, 38, has served as Chief Operating Officer since September 2006. From December 2004 to September 2006 he served as Chief Business Officer. From 1998-2004, Mr. Patterson worked in various roles at BioMarin Pharmaceuticals Inc. including Vice President, Regulatory and Government Affairs from 2001 to 2003 and Vice President, Commercial Planning from 2003-2004. From 1993-1998, Mr. Patterson worked at Genzyme Corporation in Regulatory Affairs and Manufacturing. Mr. Patterson received a B.A. in Biochemistry from Bowdoin College.
