Michael Hayes
Description Michael J. Hayes was elected a Director of the Company in January 1987 and was named Chairman of the Board in November 2001. Mr. Hayes was the Chief Executive Officer from October 1989 through January 2009 and served as a Managing Director of the Company from 1989 to 2002 when that position was eliminated. He was previously employed by Oppenheimer & Company, Inc. in various capacities from 1976 to 1985, including Managing Director and Executive Vice President ? Corporate Finance and Financial Services.
