Michael Herman
Description Mr. Herman has been a Director of the Company since May 1995. He was President of the Kansas City Royals Baseball Club from 1992 to 2000. He was President of the Kauffman Foundation from 1985 to 1990 and Chairman of its Finance and Investment Committee from 1990 to 1999. Mr. Herman was the Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of Marion Laboratories, Inc. from 1974 to 1990. He is a Trustee of Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute and the University of Chicago Graduate School of Business. Mr. Herman is presently a Director of Santarus, Inc. and Senomyx, Inc.
