Michael Liewellyn-Smith
Description Sir Michael has had a distinguished career in the British diplomatic service, including postings to Moscow, Paris and Athens, culminating in positions as British Ambassador to Poland (1991-1996) and then British Ambassador to Greece (1996-1999). He is currently vice president of the British School of Athens, Honorary Fellow of St Antony's College, Oxford, and member of the council of the Anglo-Hellenic League.
