Michael McKee
Description Mr. McKee, 64, has been Chief Executive Officer of Kennedy Associates Real Estate Counsel, L.P. (Kennedy), one of the largest privately-owned real estate investment advisory firms in the United States, since 2010. Mr. McKee retired in September 2008 as the Chief Executive Officer and Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors of The Irvine Company, a privately-held real estate development and investment company. He had been an executive officer of The Irvine Company since 1994. Prior to that, he was a partner with the law firm of Latham & Watkins LLP from 1986 to 1994. Mr. McKee is a director of Realty Income Corporation (NYSE:O), a REIT, and serves on the Board of Directors of the Tiger Woods Foundation. He also previously served as a director of Mandalay Bay Group. Mr. McKee's real estate experience with Kennedy and The Irvine Company as well as his legal background bring to our Board the perspective of a business leader who has evaluated operational and business issues similar to those facing the Company.
