Description Muehlhan AG, together with its subsidiaries, provides marine surface protection services in Europe, the United States, and Asia. The company operates in five segments: Ship Newbuilding, Ship Repair, Energy, Industry, and Other Services. The Ship Newbuilding segment offers coatings services for the shipbuilding sector. It serves shipyard customers for commercial shipping, primarily for the megayacht and naval shipbuilding segments. The Ship Repair segment provides surface-coating maintenance and renovation services to shipping companies and ship repair yards, ranging from last-minute repair work on exterior walls to the restoration of ballast and cargo tanks. The Energy segment offers surface-protection services to the renewable energy market, primarily for wind turbines, as well as operates as a partner to companies in the offshore oil and gas, and petrochemical segments. The Industry Services segment provides surface-coating solutions to industrial customers, new bridge construction and renovation projects, locks, water supply projects, transportation infra-structure projects, and specialty machinery. The Other Services segment offers onshore and offshore scaffolding services; and steel construction services for shipyard and industrial customers.
