Description Samudera Shipping Line Ltd engages in the ownership and operation of ocean-going ships, and provision of containerized feeder shipping services. The company provides feeder services to main line operators between the deep-harbor hub ports and the outlying spoke ports; and inter-region and intra-region container shipping services to end users, including manufacturers, buyers, exporters, and importers. It also offers domestic container shipping services; and bulk carrier and tanker services for specialized cargoes, such as dry bulk, liquid, or gas cargo. In addition, the company provides sea freight forwarding, shipping agency, and container freight station services; and terminal services comprising cargodoring, and receiving and delivery for containerized and non-containerized cargos, as well as engages in owning and chartering vessels. Further, it offers marine and land transportation services, including port operation services that comprise berthing and stevedoring services; and logistic services consisting of container depot, warehousing, agency, trucking and forwarding, as well as ships management services. The company operates a total of 21 container vessels of approximately 376,000 deadweight tones (DWT) capacity; 9 chemical tankers with 2,800-11,200 DWT capacity; 2 oil tankers of 17,700 DWT capacity each; 2 gas tankers, 3 offshore support vessels, and 2 dry bulk carriers of 57,700 DWT capacity each; and 4 coal carriers of 4,700-5,000 DWT capacity each. It has operations in southeast Asia, the Far East, Indian Sub-continent, and the Middle East. The company was incorporated in 1993 and is headquartered in Singapore.
