Samuel Colella
Description Samuel D. Colella co-founded Versant Ventures, a healthcare and biotechnology venture capital firm, in 1999. Mr. Colella is also a general partner of Institutional Venture Partners, a venture capital firm he joined in 1984. Mr. Colella currently serves as a director of Alexza Pharmaceuticals, Inc., Jazz Pharmaceuticals, Inc. and a number of privately held technology and biotechnology companies. Mr. Colella has a B.S. in Business and Engineering from the University of Pittsburgh and an M.B.A. from the Stanford Graduate School of Business.
