Description Mr. Chookaszian, age 66, has served as Chairman of the Financial Accounting Standards Advisory Council, which advises the Financial Accounting Standards Board, since January 1, 2007. Mr. Chookaszian was formerly the Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of CNA Financial Corporation. During his 27-year career with CNA, Mr. Chookaszian held several management positions at the business unit and corporate levels. In 1992, he was named Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of CNA Insurance Companies, and in 1999 he became Chairman of CNA?s executive committee. Mr. Chookaszian retired from CNA in 2001. Mr. Chookaszian is currently a director of Chicago Mercantile Exchange Holdings Inc., a U.S. financial exchange; LoopNet, Inc., an information services provider to the commercial real estate industry; and Insweb Corporation, an on-line insurance provider. During the past five years, he also has served as a director of Sapient Corporation, a public global services firm providing digital marketing and business and information technology services. Mr. Chookaszian has a Bachelor of Science in chemical engineering from Northwestern University, a Master of Business Administration in finance from the University of Chicago and a master?s degree in economics from the London School of Economics.
