Description Stephen W. Sanger is the retired Chief Executive Officer and Chairman of the Board of General Mills, Inc., a consumer food products company. He served as Chief Executive Officer of General Mills from 1995 to September 2007, and as Chairman of the Board from 1995 to May 2008. He is a director of Wells Fargo & Company and Pfizer, Inc. Mr. Sanger established a strong record of achieving sales growth, building shareholder value, and cultivating a business environment committed to quality, productivity and innovation during his 34 years at General Mills.
