Stephen Workman
Description Stephen K. Workman has served as our Senior Vice President, Finance and Chief Financial Officer since September 2002 and as our Vice President, Finance and Chief Financial Officer from March 1999 to September 2002. Mr. Workman also served as our Secretary from August 1999 until August 2008. From November 1989 to March 1999, Mr. Workman served as Chief Financial Officer at Ortel Corporation. Mr. Workman holds a B.S. in Engineering Science and an M.S. in Industrial Administration from Purdue University. Steve Workman, who has served as the Company?s Chief Financial Officer since joining the Company in 1999 prior to its initial public offering, will assume the role of Senior Vice President of Corporate Development and Investor Relations. These change will become effective upon the filing of the Company?s Form 10-Q report for the quarter ended January 31, 2010. On September 7, 2010, Stephen K. Workman, Senior Vice President, Corporate Development and Investor Relations of Finisar Corporation announced his resignation from the Company to be effective on or about September 24, 2010. Mr. Workman, who has served in that capacity since March 2010 and who had previously served as Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer, will join an early-stage company engaged in the development and sale of LED-based lighting products.
