Sterling McDonald
Description Mr. McDonald joined us as our Chief Financial Officer in November 2003 and has also been responsible for our administrative functions. From 1999 to 2003, Mr. McDonald acted as an independent consultant and interim Chief Financial Officer to public and private companies, primarily in the oil and gas industry. From 1997 to 1999, he served as Chief Financial Officer for PetroAmerican Services, a subsidiary of an integrated NYSE-traded oil and gas company. Previously, he served as Chief Financial Officer of PetroStar Energy, an exploration and production company, and Treasurer of Reading and Bates Corporation, a NYSE-traded international offshore drilling services, exploration and production company. Mr. McDonald holds an MBA, with highest academic achievement, from the University of Tulsa. On August 11, 2010, the board of directors of Evolution Petroleum Corporation, a Nevada corporation accepted the resignation of Sterling McDonald from his position as principal accounting officer of the Company to allow for the promotion of Mr. Greg Goodale described below. Mr. McDonald is continuing in his position as Vice President, Chief Financial Officer and Treasurer, and is continuing to serve as principal financial officer of the Company.
