Description Wiggs began his banking career in 1979. He has served as a commercial loan officer and area commercial loan administrator in New Bern, NC, city executive of Cary, NC, city executive of Greensboro, NC, and regional president of the Catawba and Piedmont Regions. Wiggs joined BB&T in 1979 and was named as regional president in 1993. Chief Marketing Officer since February 2005. Director of Wealth Management between August 2003 and January 2005. He became manager of BB&T's Wealth Management Division in 2003.
