Suseelan Pookote
Description Suseelan R. Pookote, Ph.D., joined us in March 2001 as Executive Vice President of Corporate Development. Prior to joining us, Dr. Pookote worked at Monsanto from 1980 to 2000, where he had responsibility for technology and business development in a variety of industry segments such as food, nutrition, biotechnology and specialty chemicals. At Monsanto, Dr. Pookote concentrated on technology evaluation, licensing and corporate transactions, including the negotiation of technology licensing deals with academic institutions.
